    #142 Death From Above

There were only 13 skydiving-related deaths in 2018 or 1 in every 253,669 skydives/0.0004 percent of all jumps. Imagine how long the fall would feel once you realized that both your Main and Reserve Chutes had failed? Although this is extraordinarily rare, and probably only happens when someone intentionally tampers with the chutes.  This is what our victim this week faced. For this weeks case we travel to Belgium..

#141 Whats Going On With Cindy James?

June 8th, 1989, the quiet Vancouver, British Columbia, suburb of Richmond was shocked when a body was found lying in the yard of an abandoned house. The victim was a 44 year-old pediatric mental health nurse Cindy James. She was lying on her side on the ground, fully clothed, with hands and feet bound behind her back. There was a needle mark in one arm, and an autopsy revealed she died from an overdose of morphine and other drugs, and it was thought to be a suicide!

#139 The Murder Of Arlis Perry

#139 The Murder Of Arlis Perry

Arlis would often take walks to the church alone at night to pray; Bruce warned her that it wasn't safe...but she was so lonely, she wrote home in a letter saying "Friends are hard to find here.. Many times I've been tempted to go knocking on doors asking if anyone needs a friend. But I guess we just have to appreciate each other."

    #138 "Steve The Gambler"

    #138 "Steve The Gambler"

The Pacific Northwest region of the United States was the stomping grounds for some of the most infamous serial killers in history. Many of which we have already done episodes on, Ted Bundy, Gary Ridgeway, Jerry Brudos, and Randall Woodfield, to name a few.

Well, in the mid-late 1980's there was another sexual-sadist serial killer dumping the bodies of sex-workers in the dense forests that the frequent rainfall in Oregon provide. Dayton Leroy Rogers, known as the Molalla Forest Murderer, killed street women, usually addicts, sex-workers and runaways. He would pick them up, usually under the pretense of sex for money, then take the majority of his victims to secluded areas, where he would bind, torture, rape and murder his victims usually with a knife, leaving the bodies in a forest outside Molalla, Oregon.

    #137 Sinister Sisters: Las Poquianchis

It may seem like a story based on a horror novel, but it's very real...
“Las Poquianchis” were a group of Mexican sisters who became some of the most terrifying and prolific serial killers in history. It is believed that between 1945 and 1964 they committed around 150 murders, although the official number of victims was 91.
