In our final episode, Patrice Sanders and Megan Gilliland look back on their daughters' year in kindergarten and reflect on their first days in first grade.  Megan and Patrice think back on the fears that they had at the start of the school year, and talk about how COVID-19 changed things.  Megan wonders if she will have a repeat performance when her youngest daughter starts kindergarten.

Dr. Vinisha Amin of the University of Maryland Medical System joins Patrice Sanders and Megan Gilliland to discuss the prospect of playing sports in the age of COVID-19.  Dr. Amin says that sports are a risk vs. reward proposition.  Dr. Amin says that it is a MYTH that kids can't spread coronavirus.  Patrice wants to know if we will see professional football in the fall.

Alessa Keener from Maryland Homeschool Association returns for a second week to talk with Patrice Sanders and Megan Gilliland about homeschooling and the lessons that parents can learn from experienced homeschool parents.  Alessa explains that groups of parents who want to hire a private teacher may face legal difficulties in Maryland.  Patrice shares what happened when her daughter "hit a wall" with school work.  Alessa recommends incorporating games into learning at home.

Patrice Sanders and Megan Gilliland both took a survey from their school district about their hopes for first grade.  Today they share their answers and the survey results.  Patrice is more worried about her daughter being on the bus than being in a school building.  Megan thinks that parents who want to continue virtual learning are cRaZy!
