As the Holidays come upon us I wanted to give out this reminder to stay safe and happy this holiday season by reminding you all its about family coming together. That also means friends too. So when it comes down to enjoying the time with one another try not to fight, be happy. Take a breath if you have to and a few moments if you must. Its not worth blowing up at loved ones this holiday season. Also, be safe. No drinking and driving, and when it comes to "Black Friday" try to plan it out and have back up plans just in case they only have 3 of the thing you are looking for.

Just enjoy the holiday and stay safe.

This episode is being released really late, and I apologize for that. I have been in the middle of gaining a stray pet and having to give up that said pet, changing day-cares, and a lot of family needs.

However that stray pet, dog, was a blessing and a hassle, and in this episode that is kind of what I'm trying to go over. Gaining a pet is a lot like gaining a new child. There is more time needed and more care needed to give. Especially if that new pet is either a puppy or a kitten or something that you have to train to use the potty. We are currently in the middle of potty training our little one and that has been a hassle. To add training a dog? Wow that was hard. The little one wanted to help clean up the accidents, but she would pick it up with her bare hands and that made it even more stressful on us. It was too much for us as a family to handle. For others they would think its just fine, yet we weren't ready to add a new pet. We currently have 2 cats, and to add a puppy wasn't in the cards for us.

This was something that I personally struggled with. We ended up giving the puppy up for adoption and I for some reason didn't agree with that. I felt like we were giving up on the dog. I persoanly felt like we threw in the towel and my pride was having an issue with the idea that we "gave up". However, after talking with my own mother and wife, they assured me that it was for the better of us and the dog. That it was compared to those that put their babies up for adoption. That it was for the better care of the dog/child/cat/pet to give it up for adoption if and when you decide that it is for the better. For me and my wife, my hour travel time home, 2 cats litter boxes, a 2 year old potty training, working full time, and a new dog that gave the cats a rough time. It was time for us to let her go to a better home, because close to 12 hours in a crate (we didn't want any accident in the apartment we rent) it was too long of a time to stay locked up.

There is good news though. Withing hours of dropping the dog off at the county humane center, we found out she was adopted. Yeah, that's right within hours and had a list of people that wanted her.

In conclusion, I personally now am OK with putting up for adoption as long as I know the child/cat/dog is going to a good home. But you must first try your hardest to make it work.

Hello and sorry for it being so late. we moved and life was getting in the way. I am currently working wife my wife to be able to set up a schedule so I can get these out a bit better and I apologies for this.

This episode I interview the wife. It is a bit longer then my ideal length of episode, but I feel she made it a bit more entertaining. I kind of follow the same questions that I asked my self in Episode 1. My wife loves to be a bit more theatrical then me some times and this is one of them. This is the Pilot for my new podcast, "What its like to be a parent". Where we talk about the ins and outs, highs and lows, struggles and achievements of what it is like to be a parent.

This is the "Pilot" for the podcast so please be patient, I will get better at this and distributing it out. But first let me introduce my self.

Hi! my name is Mike (aka "TheMekkaMan"). I am a father and husband, I am a full time mechanic with a hobby for: Content Creation like live streaming on Twitch and publishing videos on YouTube. YouTube is where the video format will be distributed. I plan on trying to get this podcast everywhere as in every podcast app. so stay tuned.

This podcast will be kept as a side project from my live streaming hobby. How ever I might integrate it at some time in the future.
