Dr. Leroy joined the Eller College of Management in 2013. Before coming to Eller, she taught at Claremont Graduate College, which she joined after earning her PhD in Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona in 2003. Her areas of expertise include natural language processing, text mining, text analytics, search engines, information retrieval and extraction and understanding by consumers, medical and biomedical informatics and human computer interaction and user studies. She is a member of the Association for Information Systems (AIS) and a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
