バイリンガルブログ(http://okashi-na-news-de.blogspot.com)とポッドキャストの目的は;
* 日本人に面白いオーディオとテキストの教材を提供する(オーディオの方が言語を習うために効果的と信じます)。
* 私自身の日本語の読み書きの練習のためです。だから皆さんが僕の間違えを直して、ブログのコメントで教えて下さい。
The purposes of this bilingual blog (http://okashi-na-news-de.blogspot.com) and podcast are;
* to provide interesting English study material for Japanese people in both audio and text format. (I believe that listening practice is very important, so the audio file is the primary resource and the text version is of secondary importance for language learning).
* to provide myself with Japanese writing, reading and speaking practice. Thus I would appreciate feedback from readers and listeners regarding any corrections to my English translations of the Japanese stories and also corrections to my pronunciation.

Tour de Force! A masterpiece!

This heartwarming bilingual podcast is both educational and entertaining, in the best example of its genre seen in many years. It tenderly explores the tensions between cultures and countries, breaking down communication barriers through the medium of odd-spot news stories. While the straight reading and translation for the first half of each episode is accurate, compelling and resonant, where this outstanding little series comes alive is in the commentary afterwards. The dry wit and obvious chemistry between this husband and wife team Chris and Judy is scintillating, and they masterfully use irony, pastiche and pathos to great effect. This podcast has elan while at the same time avoiding eclat. A simply must-listen for Japanese and gaijin alike. 5 stars.
