#11 Embracing Adversity As A Pathway To Growth, with Natalie Ranki-Goldman, Strategy Manager, Data Reform, at the NSW Department Of Education The Evolved Leadership Podcast

    • Entrepreneurship

My guest today is Natalie Ranki-Goldman. At the time of this recording, Natalie had just begun a new role as Strategy Manager at the NSW Department Of Education, in the Data Reform space. She is an experienced Senior Executive Leader with a rich history of experience in various global executive leadership roles, including COO, CEO, CPO, Founder, and Board Advisor positions.
Natalie has been leading the way in navigating unchartered waters, redesigning companies to meet new challenges, growing businesses through times of change, reshaping how we work in the new world whilst still maintaining engagement, high performance, redefining culture and attracting and retaining top talent.
Natalie is also focused on championing women's economic empowerment, advocating for social justice, and supporting environmental sustainability through her investment work and across her portfolio of board and advisory roles. This includes 100 Women in Finance, Women’s Indigenous Network, #SheStarts Blue Chilli Program, Women as Entrepreneurs, Flexible Working Day, Global Ambassador to UN’s Women’s Entrepreneurship Day, and Not in My Workplace.
Natalie also co-hosts a podcast called Out of the Bubble, to find ways for us to be more engaged in the world in which we live through things to read, watch, see and do.
Some of the highlights of our conversation include addressing the problem of how to commercialise the data we have access to, embracing adversity as a pathway to growth, the particular complexities of managing the multi-stakeholder nature of top-level government leadership, and the benefits of being humbled as a leader.
