A passive income machine: 80% profit margins and 200% growth - at a 3x profit multiple... how Matt & Liz buy websites
This Rask podcast episode is going to seem really… different. It’s a wonderful conversation with an extremely entrepreneurial couple who I have followed for a few years.
Matt and Liz Raad are serial investors in websites and digital assets. They’re speakers and educators who have probably helped to create tens, if not hundreds, of millions of dollars of wealth for investors, FIRE community members, those escaping the 9-to-5, and business owners.
In this podcast, we’ll going backwards, to how they first meet, to walk forwards and map their fascinating business and investment journey. This podcast is all about investing in things you’ve probably never thought you could, or should - websites.
If you want Liz, Matt and I to do a round two, I’d love to hear from you. Please use the Rask community, or ask a question link (both are are available in your podcast player) to get in touch with me.
And if you’re half as fascinated as I am in what they talk about, go and get in contact with them using the resources for this episode. If you do, let me know what you think.

Customer Reviews
Budget deficit ep is fabulous.
Loving the new (to me) terminology. Looking forward to chasing up the book.
A+ for delivery
Im at a beginner level with financial literacy and find the podcasts enjoyable and educational. What I appreciate most is not actually the content but the way it is presented.
Melissa Vincent speaks clearly and slowly, and that may seem an odd thing to comment on, but when topics are new and a bit stretchy it really helps to have the information delivered in a calm manner. I’ve listened to other podcasts in this space which have a frenetic energy in the way they are spoken and it makes me feel anxious and I struggle to digest the content. It’s also really nice to hear a female voice - literally and figuratively.
The main host, Owen, does a great job in holding space for his guests and allowing their expertise be expressed and this is refreshing and rare enough to comment on.
This podcast is a great deviation from my usual content but I enjoy it enough to keep listening. Great work team.
Too much laughing hmm
Bit annoying
