The Young Professionals Podcast (TYPP), proudly brought to you by ADAPT Careers (https://adaptcareers.com.au) and co-hosted by Luke Marriott and Nicholas Sargeant (Sarge).
Today we chat to Chris Renwick, a contracting consultant at Knox City Council (https://www.knox.vic.gov.au) specialising in organisation-wide lean transformation, working within the kindergarten management team. Chris completed a Bachelor Commerce/Arts (Information Systems / Chinese) (https://www.deakin.edu.au/course/bachelor-commerce-bachelor-arts) at Deakin University (https://www.deakin.edu.au/course/bachelor-commerce-bachelor-arts) before starting as a graduate at Deloitte (https://www2.deloitte.com/au/en.html).
Before Deloitte, Chris was involved in many business ventures, including starting his own gardening business, spending half of his degree studying in China and launching his own virtual reality start-up.
Having recently felt the impact of COVID-19 in his professional life, Chris has a fantastic insight into bouncing back from unexpected challenges and using them as a vehicle for success.
If you have a career story you would like to share, a role you would like to learn more about or any questions you would like us to ask young professionals, you can reach us through any of our social media that can be found at TYPP.com.au. We would love to hear from you!
