Customer Reviews
Kris, where have you been this whole time?
Kris, mate, I just discovered this show after it being advertised on the Light the Fuse podcast, I had no idea it existed! I have been a diehard fan of Speed ever since I was a kid, I grew up watching it obsessively on VHS and on broadcast television. Whilst everyone keeps yapping on about Die Hard and T2 (and don’t get me wrong I love those movies), I never felt like Speed got AS MUCH attention as those films, even though I find the film just as memorable and masterful in the action genre.
What can I say, this podcast has everything a fan of this movie could want - interviews from the cast, crew, chats with well respected critics in the industry, and even Keanu himself! I just discovered this podcast a few days ago and I’m already up to episode 10, it’s wonderful! High production values, great structure to the development of the movie (including facts I had no idea about - Paramount was going to make this movie?!), and beautiful editing makes for a wonderful listen whilst driving to and from work. That intro you made is something else - the “Pop Quiz Hotshot” line in sync with the music always makes me laugh! I just read on your website that you interview Eddie Hamilton, can’t wait to hear what he has to say about the movie!
Anyway, I just wanted to thank you, as a huge fan of this movie, I can’t express how appreciative I am of this podcast existing, and all your passion and hard work that goes into it. Keep up the wonderful work, I’m happy to hop on this bus with you as it gets closer to that inevitable 50mph! Much love from a fan in Perth, Australia.
