Maria Maring has oft been dubbed an “encyclopedia of campus sustainability.” During her time at UIUC, Maring maintained leadership positions in almost a dozen sustainability groups on campus! She earned the Senior 100 Honorary and the Patricia E. Askew Leadership Award for this work, though her proudest accomplishment is spearheading a climate coalition among all Big 10 Universities.
