Gives me a rough idea of what’s happening around the world, and what I can look up for more information when I need it.

The news content is probably in a par with any other broadcaster. Given the 60-90 second duration, most of the top stories are covered. However, some days there are 3 updates, some days 2, nothing over the weekend, and sometimes they’re released late. Those issues seem imminently fixable.
