Sjors is a cancer survivor. He was diagnosed with a rare form of lymphoma called Cutane T-cell lymphoma in 2010. After taking the tumour out of his wrist, Sjors didn't have any further treatment at that time. In fact, the doctors told him that the chances of him getting a reoccurrence with the same cancer was as low as winning the lottery.Unfortunately Sjor’s cancer came back 1.5 years later in 2012. At that time the cancer was found in his groin.Sjors had radiation therapy to treat the reoccurrence and although he kept his normal life during treatment, he started feeling the treatment's side effects 3 weeks post treatment.8 years later, Sjors is still working on improving his overall health. After going through so many challenges in his personal life after his first cancer diagnose, Sjors talks about how he dealt and still deals with some real personal challenges.Sjors also shared some pretty amazing lessons learned he took from his cancer journey. Sjoors is able to touch on so many subjects we all find very difficult to talk about.
