Judy is known for her work fighting the New York Board of Education and organizing sit-ins in 1977 fighting for legislation that ultimately led to the Americans with Disabilities Act. Judy’s activism was highlighted in Netflix’s, Crip Camp, which was just nominated for an Oscar. As International Women’s Month comes to a close, here are two extraordinary women who have fought for increased accessibility and visibility of disabled folks across the globe.

Beautiful podcast

Sinéad’s lovely soothing voice and thoughtful questions are such a joy to listen to, these are really interesting conversations. Especially loved the episodes with Florence Welch and Ruth Madeley!

Since first listening to Sinead on The Wardrobe Crisis, I was immediately captivated by her story and quickly sought her podcast. Absolutely Brilliant

I happened to come across a Tweet sent to me by a follower who knew my love for the Spice Girls, and Victoria Beckham in particular, alerting me to this new Podcast by Sinéad Burke.
I had known of Sinéad through media and was intrigued to hear her story.
Episode one didn’t disappoint. Her vocabulary and relaxed presentation made listening a joy and I am now happy to say I’m hooked.
I eagerly await future episodes and highly recommend you do also. Xx
