    Ford v Ferrari 2019

    Ford v Ferrari 2019

This episode the lads take a look at the 2019 film Ford v Ferrari. Based on the events in 1966 during which Ford won the 24 hour Le Mans race beating the dominant Ferrari. The film follows the relationship between Carroll Shelby, Ken Miles and the Ford company itself and whilst there's a good deal of poetic licence on offer it's a good representation of how this panned out. Listen on to hear what the lads made of the film.

Tin Can Production Values

Dear Gents, a podcast is an audio medium. If it can’t be heard, it in essence is not a podcast. What’s the point of having two announcers being clearly heard, and then a third dude using a tin can and string. As soon as he starts talking I switch it off. I figure, if you as a collective can’t be bothered producing something that can be actually heard, why should I hang on waiting for comments from the other two Boffins. There’s arrogance in not using a quality microphone and there’s stupidity in thinking the audience would bother ploughing through the rest of film review. Cancel Tin Can Man or for Christ sake treat your audience with a little respect and buy a proper microphone. Angry and Feel Let Down from Bath.

Strueth, Ruth. Ripper review chaps. Whilst listening, I could just picture you movie buffs sitting at your microphones in your anoraks putting in your 2 bobs worth. Hooroo Bruce.
