If you want real talk about how to perform better in all facets of your life without the fluffy excuses, rainbows and unicorns, the Basha Effect Podcast is for you. It’s raw. It’s real. And it might hurt you a little bit. But without pain, there is no gain!
My name is Izhar Basha and I am your host. I’m an Australian with Fijian/Indian heritage. My family migrated from Fiji when I was 5 years old, and my entire life I have been obsessed about performing and excelling in everything I do to ensure that my parents’ sacrifices and battles were not in vain. I’m an ex-lawyer, and I’ve run and managed numerous successful businesses in my life. My key businesses are EHPlabs (the world’s fastest growing health supplement brand) and BIG Property Group (a luxury property development and infrastructure business). I’ve learnt a lot of lessons in my life, and I’ve dug deep to find solutions to my problems and the motivation to continue to power on. These are all the gems I will be sharing in the Basha Effect Podcast.
The Basha Effect is a “pun” (play on words) relating to the Butterfly Effect. The premise and underlying message of this podcast is that we need to be aware that our actions in our little world or microcosm can extend out and have an impact in places and areas that we have no idea about. We need to be mindful of all our actions and ensure that we apply excellence and continuous and never-ending improvement so that we can bring about positive outcomes and growth - a concept I call “perpetual positivity”.

Episode 25 - Failure Is Not An Option
I'm back! And in this episode, I dive into one of the most fundamental concepts that I practice on a daily basis.
I don't believe in failure, and the Basha Effect Podcast is a prime example of this. It could have been another podcast that disappears after a few episodes but I refuse to fail and in this episode, I give you some examples of how this mindset has helped me achieve my desired outcomes and how these words "failure is not an option" can help you achieve yours. -
Episode 24 - The Power of Perspective
This episode is GEM PACKED with information that will help anyone out there that's going through a rough time. Perspective, how you look at things/situations is KEY to achieving your desired outcomes.
The things I talk about are things that have helped me get to where I am now. If my words have impacted you in any way please share this episode with a friend. -
Episode 23 - Humanity vs Insanity

Episode 21 - Don't Fake It Until You Make It
In this episode, I dive deep into a topic that really annoys me.
Fake people and the whole 'Fake It Until You Make It" movement.
This is probably the rawest podcast I've ever done, and if you know me you know that I don't hold anything back.
By listening to this podcast I hope you get a better idea of how to spot 'real' people by observing this one characteristic (16:40)

Customer Reviews
An amazing podcast that raw and real. Highly recommended.
Thank you Iz for creating such a raw and real podcast. Even though it’s been a few years since the last episode, it still has had a profound impact on me. Being a fellow Fijian I find your story inspiring and a lot of the topics you discuss are quite relatable.
Related podcast which has been in my thoughts for days
My first ever Basha effect podcast, I stumbled upon a recommendation to listen to this podcast and thought what the heck a light listen to get me through my fasted cardio I’ll give it ago.
I was captivated by the story of the Uber driver, emphasising with his situation as my husband has also been fighting bowel cancer, although I did not divorce him, but the raw honest, optimistic advice that Basha gave this Uber driver I had been providing to my husband through his journey, through financial hardship, continuous doubt and self defeat. I pray that through this interaction, some would call fate, that you did change his perspective, as I too believe it is only the beginning.
In addition the podcast also left a few connotations residing in my thoughts for a few days leaving me want to listening to more of Athens Basha Effects ✌🏻
Humble & Successful 👏
A refreshing podcast that cuts through the typical airy business podcasts and through to authentic business learnings, experiences & winning formulas.
