Talia Emsalem and Maxine Tuyau know that beauty isn’t one size fits all. After years of not seeing themselves represented in the world of beauty, it became frustratingly clear that this industry tends to speak to one demographic: those who meet traditional western standards of beauty.

In the BiP podcast, Maxine and Talia share information on products and procedures for a more inclusive beauty industry, while having important and meaningful conversations. Expect candidness, beauty with a conscience, and a unique assortment of guests - from injectors, to nail techs, to people you might not know yet.

They don’t always have the same opinions, but they do both love a little enhancement (no those aren’t their real lashes), and they definitely agree on one thing: beauty IS, in fact, political.

Best beauty pod!!

I have fully changed my skincare routine because of this podcast. Max and Talia give great advice and are so enjoyable to listen to. I love that they are putting out great beauty content whilst still acknowledging societal beauty standards and the complex issues surrounding beauty and skincare.

They’ve had some really interesting guests on the show, and all their advice is non-judgemental, inclusive, and very entertaining. My skin has never looked or felt better and it’s all thanks to BIP.

I’m also a proud ding donger 🥰

Funny and factual

This podcast is so fun and funny and full of facts. The topics explored are thought-provoking and considerate. Definitely a must listen for anyone even the slighted bit curious about the world of beauty and the ethical minefield that lies behind some of the world’s facades. Best of all, listening to Maxine and Talia makes me feel really good about myself. 10/10
