This is the first part of our interview with Alison. Alison is Kirra's mother. She plays a massive part in this story and our investigation. Because of the length of the interview we have broken this episode up into two parts.

    My Brothers Keeper

    My Brothers Keeper
Jamie and Tom meet with one of the last people to see Kirra alive. This person is also Jason’s sister and is alleged to have had a fight with Kirra on the 16th of July 2014. What she say’s is unbelievable. Thanks Tamiqua for having the courage to come forward and tell her story.

Very emotional and heartbreaking

Thank you for this opportunity to hear Kirra McLoughlin’s storey. So raw and heartbreaking to hear how her last hours were and the horrible pain she endured. My thoughts and condolences to her Mother Alison who has an amazing strength. Thank you for sharing this hurtful memory. And to all her family and close friends my condolences.
Thank you Jamie and Tom for your dedication in telling Kirra’s story.

Great podcast and thank you Tom for speaking on OCD

You can hear how much dedication and compassion Jamie and Tom have regarding the tragic death of Kirra.

I want to do a huge shout out to Tom and say thank you for your courage in talking about your experience with OCD. I also experience OCD in a few of its forms (including health) and it is so misunderstood and downplayed / dismissed as quirky cleaning habits. It is one of the most debilitating conditions- during my worst times I haven’t been able to leave my house and the road to recovery is literally facing your anxieties on a daily basis- it’s not easy and like you, only a select few people know j experience OCD.

Thanks also to Jamie for demonstrating how to hold space for someone in a non-judgemental manner.

Love your work guys!

Raw, passionate and full of compassion.

I stumbled upon this podcast after seeing a story about Alison on the TV recently. I was taken by her strength and resilience.
I’m up to the “Tear it Down” plog episode.
Jamie & Tom, thank you for speaking out about the stigma of mental health and for your efforts in tearing the stigma and stereotypes down.
I too live with anxiety, as does my partner.
I was listening to “Hell Freezes Over” last night, and I was bawling my eyes out as Alison was talking to Tamika. What an amazing woman you are, Alison!!
This podcast deserves all the publicity it gets.
