Absolutely wonderful series

Listened to the China series first. Loved it. It is a very great overview. I am from Taiwan myself, living in Australia, and I know a lot the historical narratives, but then the overarching view that Prof. Jacobs has put together is wonderful. Pretty down to earth language too.

Now listening to the Japanese series. It is a less discussed topic in the west. The interplay of Japanese culture and the pacific war. Hardcore History podcast history is now attempting it, but not from a professional historian level, and as we all know, that series beautiful as it is, can be meandering. I like Prof Jacobs’s style. Lovely work.
