APPLICATION QUESTIONWhat is the meaning of my life? -
Our Way Or God’s Way?
We must look at how our ways differ to God’s ways, for it reveals the sure and certain hope we have in Christ who moved to shift us from our own way into His way.
Titus 3 -
Hygienic Faith
Our faith must become healthy and hygienic that those in opposition to Christ cannot slander the seemingly foolish message of hope that we share with the world.
APPLICATION POINTS
We must be concerned when we fall short of a redeemed lifestyle, for the message about Christ is a hard chat even in the best of times.
We can be certain that we are living a redeemed lifestyle when we begin to see an abundance of the Holy Spirit’s fruit in our lives as we persevere in faith.
We must remember that we will never be squeaky clean in own our strength (self-righteousness), but we must take care to maintain appropriate hygiene (holiness).
Titus 2:1-15 -
Accountability
We are called to be a people of accountability for the sake of God’s gospel which brings good into a world of evil. We ought to sharply silence those who make an idol of money — the root of all evil — by seeking dishonest financial gain.
APPLICATION QUESTIONS– How do we respond to the evils of our culture?– How do we respond to the evils we see in the Church?– How do live out the freedom we have in Christ?

Compassion
We are to follow the example of our Lord as a people of compassion. But what does it really look like to be compassionate, and why does it matter? Surely it is enough to show either sympathy or empathy towards others?
