Birth Like A Badass : Episode EIGHT - I LOVE My Kids, but I freaking HATE parenting The Nikii Syme Show

Hey mama,

This week on the poddy I bring some REAL TALK!

I LOVE my kids, but boy oh boy, do I HATE parenting!

This parenting gig is TOUGH! and as you know, I am here to have the REAL conversations about this stuff.

There’s times when I have questioned whether I am a good mother.

Whether I even like my kids at all. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I thought it was my kids I hated and the guilt and shame that that brought with it was HEAVY AS F!

Obvs I don’t hate my kids. They bring me so so much joy and love.

So just to be crystal clear.

I LOVE MY KIDS.

I would kill and die for them.

But...
I HATE PARENTING!

It SUCKS BALLS for me.

Legit...parenting is the BIGGEST head fK we will ever experience.
It’s boring.

It’s mundane at times.
It’s all consuming.
And it flat out SUX!
Parenting is TOUGH!

It’s challenging, all consuming and NOT my zone of genius! Haha

And while I LOVE my kids with all of my being, there’s times I wish I could just be the fun Aunty and give them back at the end of the day 😂 REAL TALK!
