BREAKING: Man City BANNED from Champions League | What it means for Liverpool

Kristian Walsh and Paul Wheelock discuss the ramifications of this huge breaking news, for both City and their great rivals Liverpool, and for both this season and next.

City, who like the Reds are in the last-16 of the Champions League, have been found to have committed ‘serious breaches’ of financial regulations by UEFA.

The Etihad Stadium outfit, managed by Pep Guardiola, have confirmed they will appeal against the decision.

City are currently 22 points behind Liverpool at the top of the Premier League after winning the title for the past two seasons. For information regarding your data privacy, visit acast.com/privacy

Love the show but background noise is a damper

Great analysis from the lads. I look forward to listening to each and every podcast. However, some episodes are recorded in heavily trafficked communal areas where you can hear plates dropping and large amounts of other conversations. I still give it a 5 star rating as it’s better than any other local LFC analysis we get here in Australia. Keep up with the good work!

Most informed podcast about my beloved Liverpool that I’ll get all the way over here in Australia. Not quite 5 stars because of the locations of some of the recordings . Restaurants etc. are not conducive to a good listen for me. It’s a minor gripe however! Up the mighty Reds!
