Brad Freddy Fittler - Life’s Worth Writing About Not an Overnight Success

    • Entrepreneurship

In today’s episode, we are chatting with Brad Freddy Fittler

Freddy is arguably one of the best players in the game of Rugby League. He was a boy from Penrith that could never sit still. He belonged on the footy field and it always came easily to him.

Freddy captained his state and his country, played 16 seasons and almost 450 games at the highest level.

For this podcast, we went to Freddy’s home and you’ll hear us talking about that in our chat. After a workout and some meditation together, we sat outside in the sunshine where I got to know Freddy on a deeper level. This was the type of interview where you kind of forget that the microphones are there and everything is recording. You’ll hear birds chirping, Freddy’s llamas in the background and the occasional crunch of toast. Put it this way, it wasn’t the most professional of settings but it brought out some sides of Freddy that I hadn’t seen before.

Freddy is a larrikin. He has never lost sight of where he comes from.

As for all of these podcasts, Shaw and Partners have generously donated $10k to the charity of choice of each of our guests. We discuss who that money goes to in this chat.
