In this episode we summarise the process of brewing and distilling a self-flavoured spirit in order to give context for later episodes.

Each topic will likely last multiple episodes and will dive into the nitty-gritty of things such as what is going on inside a grain of barley as it's malting, how yeast metabolises and grows, and the reactions that take place inside a barrel of rum!
