just brilliant

this podcast is a wonderfully dynamic conversation of an Agatha Christie style of historical true crime storytelling. Kate Winkler Dawson and Paul Holes create a whole scene of time and place and a true portrait of the people involved. It’s the very best of storytelling with two experts who discuss and ask questions. They recreate the people, especially victims of crime. Kate Winkler Dawson and Paul Holes both have smooth as honey voices, I often listen to this podcast when I’m going to sleep. absolutely 5 stars, this concept is so original and listening to the back and forth seems a real privelege

Try Crime with Intellect

Love the balance that these two true-crime rockstars have achieved with this conversational but incredibly well researched podcast. Its great to get inside the mind of Paul to understand how crimes are analysed today, and reflect on crimes of the past to highlight how far we have come with modern science. Chefs kiss.

Great chemistry

I love this podcast. Kate and Paul work so well together and it is fascinating to hear them unpick the details of past crimes and to hear how Paul, using his insights, builds a case as it is unfolded by Kate. I highly recommend for anyone interested in hearing how true crimes are investigated and solutions put together.
