In this episode of For One Night Only (FONO), Pete Holmes talks with Out Proud Cal Hawk – Pronouns He/Him, who has been the producer and a presenter with Well, Well, Well on JOY for about a decade and working at Thorne Harbour Health as their Comms Manager for 10 years.

Cal was born in Pittsburgh and grew up in a neighbourhood on the edge of the city called Brentwood. He loved sport and played baseball and swam at school until he found sports an unsafe environment due to his budding sexuality. During high school, he was heavily involved in theatre then went to Boston Uni where he got involved with comms, radio and photojournalism.  He came to Australia when at Uni as part of an abroad program in 2005 and now is an Australian citizen. After coming out he got involved in various sporting clubs including the Sydney Convicts Rugby Club and Melbourne Surge. He’s also been involved in Melbourne’s leather community and hosts events at the Laird.
