With momentum behind podcast registrations continuing to grow (now at 168), we've been busy behind the scenes augmenting the judging panel, which has now stretched to eight industry experts, and will continue to grow. We are excited to announce the addition to the panel of:

Cast Away Weekly Podcast on the Omny Discovery Feed:


Cast Away is the Australian podcasting awards, and we consider it part of our role to also BE a podcaster - to keep in touch with the realities podcasters contend with at the coalface of this pursuit. Our podcast Cast Away Weekly* is basically this newsletter in podcast format. We're keeping it simple for now, but who knows what will develop!


Hosted by Whooshkaa, available on iTunes, we're also included in Omny Studio's Podcast Discovery Feed, an intuitive discovery innovation from Omny Studio, which can be utilised by listeners via most devices and podcatching apps.


We asked Sophie Kneebone, Omny Podcast Manager, how Discovery Feed has been going. "The response to the Discovery Feed has been incredibly positive.
