Celluloid Dreams 19th Apr 2023
Joining us on the show this week is Australian writer/director Rolf de Heer along with lead actress Mwajemi Hussein. They dropped into the studio to discuss their new film The Survival of Kindness. This is Mwajemi Hussein’s first film and she has drawn on her own life experiences to create the main character of Black Woman.
Also on the show, we review The Giants, the new documentary about the life of living national treasure Bob Brown. This is not your average biopic, so stick around to learn more. And we open the Celluloid Dreams vault to hear from scientist and conservationist David Suzuki in a compelling and relevant interview from 2010.
