Night Weaning - A honest, unedited conversation.

If you follow me on insta you will know that I recently night weaned my son, and I thought instead of just sharing my journey I would bring my friend and colleague Amber Gibson to chat all things night weaning as she has just done the same with her little girl. Amber is also a midwife and IBCLC so she brings loads of professional knowledge to the discussion.  We both approached night weaning quite differently which makes for an interesting conversation!

    in this episode we discuss:
How we decided it was time to stop breastfeeding overnight. What our plan was for navigating night weaning and helping our toddlers to sleep without a breastfeed. The nitty gritty of how it all went - was it hard? Did they then sleep through? How our children's sleep is now a few months after night weaning. What the pros and cons of night weaning have been for usWhat we would tell other mums who are considering night weaning.I hope you really enjoy the episode and remember I am here to help you navigate night weaning - just click here to book a consultation.

Amber has been Midwife for over 11 years and is also an Endorsed Midwife and Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). After years of working in a tertiary hospital and working in a Midwifery Group Practice, Amber opened her own private practice in Melbourne… ‘Body, Birth and Baby’.  Amber is passionate about empowering and educating parents-to-be in pregnancy about Birth, Breastfeeding and The Fourth Trimester and loves supporting new parents at home postpartum. You can connect with Amber on Insta @bodybirthandbaby or bodybirthandbaby.com.au.
