Although you have lectures, tutorials, practical demonstrations and hands-on simulation in University, having the opportunity to watch, rewind or repeat the procedure performed by experienced paediatric nurses can be invaluable.

This collection of videos demonstrates common nursing procedures and allows you to watch them at your leisure. By studying these videos you can observe an expert practitioner’s hand co-ordination, the positioning of equipment, and interaction with the child. This will enable you to identify components of the clinical skill that could be practised in the University’s simulation laboratory before entering clinical practice.
