The Wonderful Mrs McKendry
Rebekah McKendry is a wonderful voice in the horror cinematic universe. Engaging, smart and above all a fan of the genre since childhood. She deserves this. She will not disappoint. Enjoy. Her other Podcast, SHOCKWAVES is excellent as well.
Doctor Who?
Elric Kane is awesome I love his knowledge , enthusiasm and unabashed passion for cinema but it is much better served on the Pure Cinema podcast where he is paired with a partner equally knowledgeable but more measured and restrained. His partner here is apparently a Dr. (as she is constantly reminding us but frankly, who cares?) has made a couple of mediocre films ( great effort but we got it the first time) and is constantly getting her facts wrong. She is always hijacking and repeating what Elric and guests have just said and talking all over interviewees turning the conversation back on herself. Nothing personal against her but her style I just find trying to hard to be cool at the expense of everyone around her trying to get a word in. I pity her students, again nothing personal. Mckendry seems fixated on teen stuff so maybe she should just have her own podcast for Hocus Picus/Sabrina the Teenage Witch lovers. I hate to be mean but I just had to get it out. Love Kane though and will be giving my time to Pure Cinema and Movies that made us and anything Mick Garris does. Shows that let their guests speak
