I love Max’s podcasts. He is a natural teacher and speaks just at the right pace for an upper beginner/early intermediate learner. He is also funny and just an interesting and engaging guy! I always look forward to listening to his podcasts. Большое спасибо Макс!!
Improves my Russian with every listen
This is the first iTunes review I've ever written and it's solely because I love this podcast so much. It's immersive and smart, funny and engaging and Max is a likeable guy. I feel like I've jumped from a plateauing beginner to an intermediate listener in a few weeks. The podcasts are 100% in Russian and Max carefully negotiates new words with multiple synonyms and clever explanations so that you can always understand what he's saying. It's extremely satisfying to listen to someone speak Russian for ~20 minutes and understand almost everything!
