How to Be a Better Human

How to Be a Better Human

This is... NOT an episode of Conversations with People Who Hate Me. We're taking a week off, so instead we're sharing an episode of another podcast from the TED Audio Collective called How to Be a Better Human. It's a show hosted by comedian (and good friend of Dylan's) Chris Duffy, about how we can all learn to be a little less terrible. Dylan was interviewed by Chris last year and shares what he’s learned about apologies, forgiveness, and the benefits of taking the time to explore and establish our personal boundaries. If you want to hear more episodes, you can find and follow How to Be a Better Human wherever you're listening to this. And great news—they're hard at work on a new season and will be back weekly in June.

What we need more of in the world.

I’m absolutely obsessed with this podcast. There needs to be more empathy and understanding in the world. We need to have more tough conversations not with those who agree with our point of view, but those who don’t. Dylan does exactly that. For anyone who has an interest in people and human behaviour, you’ll love this podcast!

A podcast for all humans

As someone who gets very frustrated trying to talk to people about anything vaguely political or social, the sheer empathy, patience, open mindedness and love in this podcast is so inspiring and makes me believe that a better world really is possible.
Dylan is such a beautiful, empathetic human being, the way he carries out conversations with both like minded people and folks with very different views is something we can all learn from.

great podcast

interesting and fun to listen to podcast. dylan has a great approach to conversations with people with vastly different views which makes the podcast work really well.
