Thank you to the tens!
Yup. You read that right.
Now that the show has wrapped up, Rachel offered to answer our most burning questions in a bathtub Q&A.
No better way to wrap up our podcast than this.
Thank you, Rachel, for being fabulous in all the best ways.
Thank you to all of the talented creators and contributors to the Crazy Ex-Girlfriend for giving us such an entertaining, heartfelt, generous, bizarre and real piece of art.
Thank you to all of our special correspondents -- Shea, Karly, Justin, Cory, and Katie -- who came by to sit around my dining room table and chat about this show, likely for longer than you expected.
Thank you,Tonya, for your thoughtfulness, zingers, inception horns, Costco dinners, and therapy sessions. (I really owe you a few co-pays.)
Thank you, Amber, for your insight, hours of drive time, handwritten show notes, self care and Loretta.
And, finally, thank you to the tens. (Okay, there are a lot more than tens.) I still can't believe that you all listened to us talk for this long and sing this badly and digress this far for this many episodes. Thank you for your thoughts, your questions, your encouragement, your feedback, your insight, and your joy and passion for the television show. We started the show because we wanted to keep fans of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend company. We so enjoyed chatting with you during your commutes, your walks, and your laundry sessions. Spending time with each other and with you was the best self-care experience.
We love you, fam! See you soon.
Final recording cohost.
This week, Suzanne and Tonya have the delight of chatting with special guest Allison Shoemaker, television critic at The A.V. Club whose weekly breakdowns of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend was required reading. We chat about her experience covering the show during its entire run, her deep dive into the making of the 11 O'Clock number, and why George's/Danny's Turn may be the most satisfying number of the finale concert.
(Also, if you didn't catch it, check out Allison's genius CXG/GOT crossover music video. Rachel Bloom is on record as saying it is her favorite Crazy Ex-Girlfriend music video.)
Mix CD Draft
Suzanne, Amber and Tonya are back to celebrate the songbook of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend with -- you guessed it -- a draft.
The gals take turns disciplining a foster dog and drafting their favorite songs to make their dream CXG mix CD. Twelve tracks and twelve tracks only. Listen to find out which songs make the cut!

Funny & Insightful
Suzanne & Amber & the various other hosts are all highly entertaining and relatable as they talk about the incredible show Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. They pay close attention to detail and offer some analysis beyond just “I love it!” Although there’s plenty of that as well! This podcast has me singing & quoting along with the hosts, chair-dancing, and occasionally yelling at them through my phone when I disagree with their interpretation. Although it doesn’t offer hard-core literary analysis or much social critique of the show (which is a pity because Crazy Ex-Girlfriend really lends itself to deeper readings) this podcast still keeps me entertained and enriches my enjoyment of the show.
Great Podcast for the true CXG Fan
It’s great to find a podcast that is interesting and on point - rapping about plot, character and musical clues. This podcast interacts with the crazy ex girlfriend reddit Group and I enjoy all the episodes. Suffering through the wait between episodes with you.
Funny and insightful
Suzanne and her various guests are always delightful. The shows are full of banter and insight, and plenty of ridiculous anecdotes from the hosts. I am always excited when the new episode appears!
