We finally get to meet the big dog of the local Witch Hunter scene, but even Avery's friendship powers aren't powerful enough to crack his tough exterior - but she does get a win against Pale's vile villain - Jeanine. Meanwhile, Verona has a great (and not terrible) idea, and we see it go from birth to execution as Charles lives out his worst nightmare - people working together to help each other.
