I’ve really enjoying the storytelling and the way complexity of the human experience is unveiled. However I am deeply disappointed in the episode 6 discussion around BPD. It just blows my mind how ‘mental health professionals’ describe BPD (even calling us ‘borderlines’). Regardless of whether Marc has this diagnosis, these types of characterisations are so harmful and stigmatising and have huge ramifications for those of us who have this diagnosis and are rejected by so called ‘care’ because of this stigma. Lying and manipulation are NOT core symptoms of BPD. Please do better!
