Episode 115 hosts Dr Tapan Patel, a leading cosmetic physician and the owner of PHI clinic in London, UK. He specialises in all aspects of non-surgical aesthetic procedures and is a global KOL for Allergan Aesthetics. A year ago to the day of our recording, Dr Patel was diagnosed with COVID-19. The aftermath of this and his recovery led him on a personal journey to re-discover his health and wellness but also something even bigger. Not only did he get into the shape of his life but he then incorporated these new perspectives into aesthetic consultations with his patients.
We ultimately pose some deeper questions about cosmetic medicine including: Have we only scratched the surface of our patients potential? Can wellness and aesthetics be combined into a new speciality known as lifestyle medicine?
