Drowning Sound Podcast Swimming

The always amazing Carerra & Tavares were tasked with curating a line-up for an edition of Promise Cherry Beach and they chose me to open. To me, opening is like a summoning of sorts – an opening of a portal, of a container, of a gateway to a place that we all enter then later leave feeling nourished by music, dance, and community. I think you'll feel that energy in this set.

On August 5th, 2022 bike ravers from across the land gathered to be beamed aboard The Mothership for a night of bass, beats, and psychedelic visions. Selectors Swimming & DJ Presentable pumped out sonic vibrations to move bodies and stimulate the senses. Special thanks to Jenn Evans for her help in setting the vibe visually and transporting us to another world and Alek Bojic for expanding the sound system with his great speaker.
