Mostly great!

Good so far! The narrator’s accent is a bit different , maybe American ? But he’s understandable. The surfer episode was great! The Cameroon one there were a few weird comments as if only white people can be French.... I thought a bit weird as French is very multi ethnic and multicultural. But overall I’m enjoying the podcast!

Perfect Difficulty Level

As an intermediate French learner, I’ve had trouble finding resources at the right difficulty level for me. This podcast is perfect! The language is simple, but real and relevant, and the English portions ensure that I don’t get lost. I can’t wait for more fascinating episodes!!!

Fabulous podcasts

I have just started listening to the Duolingo podcasts
They are really excellent
The stories are fascinating with very appealing, inspirational people.
I love the fact that the French is interspersed with English but not direct translation so one has time to translate what one thinks is being said in one’s head and then hear confirmation, or otherwise, in English.
The speed of narration is perfect for me and has boosted my self confidence in my ability to at least understand measured intermediate French.
The spoken word is beautiful and easy to understand and follow.
The written transcription is a bonus.
Love these.
Sadly there are only six so far but hoping more will come soon.
Well done Duolingo. A great way of learning more French.
Please keep it up.
Have just read the other reviews and although I am from an English English-speaking background, I think the narrator’s voice is lovely. Mellifluous, clear, warm and very easy on the ear. No complaints there!
