Embarrassing period stories w/ Ophelia, Isobel and Eloise The Flow: A Podcast by TABOO

- Education
We thought we would kick off this season with some laughs. Today we are chatting about embarrassing period stories. I don’t think I’ve come across anyone who hasn’t had an embarrassing moment at some point since having their period. We asked you guys to send in your embarrassing period stories on instagram and are also going to react to some stories we recorded at our podcast launch last year.
When people hear about TABOO’s mission to eradicate period poverty, they are often surprised when we tell them that doesn’t just mean period poverty occurring overseas - that we have a whole program which donates period products to people right here in Australia who can’t afford it. Period poverty is a reality for many in our country, and it’s happening right on our doorstep.

We acknowledge that this podcast is recorded on the land of the Kaurna people and we pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We also respect and acknowledge the traditional owners of land on which you, the listener, are listening from today.
TABOO thanks local Adelaide artist Lenah Rasmussen (@lenahbean_), for our incredible podcast art, and Peter Spiniello for our theme music, brilliantly created using the sounds of our pad and tampon packaging!
