From an early age it was clear that Ameet Bains loved his footy. Born and bred in regional Victoria in Bendigo his father passed on a passion and obsession with the game of AFL. Sport was at the centre of the community and footy provided a purpose, connection and belonging for Ameet.
In this episode we hear how Ameet heads down the highway to Uni where he studies law and goes on to become a Lawyer, firstly with Minter Ellison.
Yet the call of a career in sport was always with him in fact it was as loud and clear as the shout of "ball" from a packed MCG crowd.
With an ability and reputation to read the play and deliver on a clubs area's of opportunity and improvement, Ameet is appointed CEO of the Western Bulldogs Football Club.
