Stress creates a ceiling on how far you can go and how much impact you have.
As a high-performer, you will face stressful and challenging situations over and over again. Your ability to remain calm, clear minded and focus on solutions is going to determine how successful you are. 
As you’ll hear, I have the viewpoint that stress is something that can be mastered. I totally disagree with the idea that stress is just a normal part of everyday life and there’s nothing you can do about it. Yes, there's going to be challenges and set backs but what I’ve found for my self, and proven with others, is that no matter how difficult the situation there's always a way to  develop yourself to be more resilient and stay calm, clear and in control. 
When it comes to stress, this is our goal. Always be growing and developing our ability to handle what comes our way. When stress genuinely hits us (and it will), implement the right tools and tactics to meet the challenge head on and overcome it.
