Period poverty is a common phrase you may have heard that talks to having a lack of menstrual products because of cost! Many NZ teenagers are missing out on school because they can’t afford period products to get them through the day.

This in all honesty breaks my heart and makes me feel incredibly grateful to have had a family that could always provide that for me. @_dignitynz is here to solve this! Their mission is to create period equity by supporting schools, youth organisations and women’s support services.
