    Episode 20 - Travellers' Reflections

    Episode 20 - Travellers' Reflections

It's been a while since we've released an episode, but there has been a good reason for that. Dave and Stephen have been travelling the world attending many meetings and conferences. From this, they have gained a great insight into how the profession is tracking in various parts of the globe, and what is on the horizon. There is an undeniable vibe that the chiropractic profession is changing; for the better, we would argue. The focus on evidence-based, person-centred and integrated care is growing and gaining broad support from the WFC to the various professional bodies and educational institutions. Listen to their perspective on this exciting evolution.

We hope you enjoy this special episode of the icarechirocast podcast, which also, of course, contains Dave Newell's Context Corner and Stephen Perle's CMT paper reviews.

How to set the standard

These are such great podcasts. Thank you Profs Dave Newell and Stephen Perle for the great work you are doing. It's great to hear from such influential guests, including Profs Christine Horon Goertz and Iben Axén. I loved Iben's comment about learning from research and being able to use this to answer the questions that patients raise in consultation, instead of relying upon anecdotes. That is something that I've also found out here on the front line. Keep up the great work!

Axis Consulting ,

Necessary

Rational, reasonable and informative. Vital for evidence informed chiropractors to listen to, interesting for other allied healthcare practitioners.
