Absolutely not. I have found that by making eye contact with my subject, pointing with my hand to my camera and asking “OK" while nodding my head with affirmation is all that is needed. That said I believe knowing a few Spanish words or expressions does not hurt. So, please see below. The English expression is followed by the Spanish. There’s an audio version and written one too. Maybe load the audio on to your mobile phone for some down time listening on your flight over to Havana. However, do not feel obligated to know even one Spanish word - a smile and a nod of the head goes very far.
