Hi, Dax Shepard here. I’m fascinated by smart people with a unique point of view. On this show, I leverage people’s vague awareness of me as an actor to talk with a bunch of bona fide experts. It’s a soothing mix of brain candy and defensive humor (my response to feeling intellectually outclassed). Join me on a layman’s journey through the Land of Specialists!

Thank you

Love this podcast - you’ve opened me up to so many new clinicians, academics, authors and commentators. As a lover of non-fiction, listening to Experts on Expert has put a list of new books, documentaries and podcasts on my reading / watching / listening list for 2020. Even when I have beliefs that are strongly opposed to some of your guests, listening to this podcast has made me more open and receptive to hearing other people’s views. I’m looking forward to seeing who will be on the guest list this year. Thank you - really enjoy listening (all the way from Australia)!
