Just devoured the book in a day & now pouncing on the book club to deep dive to catch what I may have missed. Perfect Saturday night 🤓

Thoughtful and Insightful

There really is so much going on in an episode. Most of the time it just washes over me. The amazing hosts really have some amazing insights, theories, and critiques. I would be lost without them.

A few belated theories

Thanks for loving THT as much as I do. I discovered your podcast halfway through season 3 and listened avidly till the end of the season. Then I decided to immediately watch it all from the start and listen to your podcast from the beginning (season 2). So good!!
I have a theory about Eleanor’s death. It’s mentioned that the medication she needed had become impossible to get a week or so before her death leading to her unstable condition. This made her a liability, not only to June’s plan, but also to Joseph’s safety. So I’m theorizing that Joseph “provided” the drugs from his stash of contraband (remember the contraception he offers June?). We are never told what it was that she took but we know her drugs weren’t available. I think her left her alone for what seemed to be overnight so she could die.
Also, the bridge Fred and Serena go over looked like severed fingers to me!! Nice touch.
Can’t wait till season 4 of the podcast. I hope you read this before then though.
