Film Buffs Forecast is Australia’s longest running film show. For 30 years it aired weekly on Melbourne public radio station 3RRR. Now it begins a new chapter.

Recorded weekly at Cinema 9 Studios at the Sun Theatre in downtown Yarraville, Paul Harris will bring you a collection of in-depth interviews, film reviews, insider gossip (c’mon, we know you love it) and lots of lame puns.

Previous guests have included Martin Scorsese, Melanie Griffith, Jane Campion, Jack Nicholson, Wim Wenders, Tom Cruise, Gillian Armstrong and Kevin Costner.

If you love film as much as Paul Harris then you NEED to subscribe to this podcast!

PAUL HARRIS and his TEAM are LEGENDS

There's something for every fan of filmdom in Film Buffs Forecast. The three decade+ radio show has successfully morphed into the digital rehlm and to my mind seems even better in this form. Paul and the team cast far and wide into the cinema universe with details of production details, gossip, historical facts etc. from Australia and abroad. Do yourself a favour and indulge, you won't regret it. Since it became a podcast it is even better

Paul’s Mystery Magic Box

A Melbourne radio station certainly lost a significant chunk of intellectual capital letting this show go. Paul Harris continues his fine work in film buffdom, with the odd segue into film buffoonery, in this excellent podcast series that offers so much more than film talk. You’ll also discover great book discussions (e.g. Ep. 80 & Ep.93); delightful revelations of forgotten or obscure historical facts; and tips on great deals to be had about town, minus the marketing/sales pap (Ep.93 again). And then there’s the music, the soundtrack scores such as Elmer Bernstein’s theme for The Comancheros, which is every bit as ‘magnificent’ as his more famous one. There’s so much great content here my only complaint is there never seems to be enough time to get around to listening to it all!

Triple R were idiots to lose this.

Great show I can still listen to how and when I went...Lost track of how many years it’s been since I first listened to it on radio...
