    ​Dr Chris speaks with Jacinta Eales, registered acupuncturist and nutritionist. After graduating from her Bachelor of Health Science majoring in acupuncture in 2015, she then completed an advanced diploma in nutritional medicine. This allows her to prescribe nutritional supplements and provide naturopathic style dietary advice which she combines with her Chinese medicine knowledge.

    As a practitioner, she has a keen interest in women’s hormonal disorders, skin conditions such as acne and all things surrounding fertility. Other areas of her clinical focus include stress management, sleep issues, fatigue, and cancer support. Dr Chris caught up with Jacinta following her immersion in the seminar for the Kiiko Matsumoto style of acupuncture.

    After studying Oriental medicine and practices such as qigong and shiatsu, Martin found himself as a student to Ivan in an 8-month apprenticeship where he learned first-hand the clinical application of Tui Na. Since then, the pair have remained close and after almost a decade of gathering techniques, case studies, treatment approaches, and protocols, they are now on the home stretch of completing their collaborative effort - Tui Na: an integrative approach - a comprehensive guide and resource for students and practitioners.
