Who knew there was SO MUCH to forgiving and taking ownership? Unfortunately, a lot of us are not aware of this. For a lot of us, we forgive immediately because that's what "we were commanded to do", being unaware of the resentment that you'll constantly carry around due to not properly healing from the offense. Some of us write people off as soon they have offended us, also resulting in a lifetime of resentment.
