In this EXTENDED episode of For One Night Only (FONO), Pete Holmes talks to JOY Vice-President Madeleine Swain (Pronouns She/Her). Madeleine was born in a town called Sutton Coldfield in the Midlands, but couldn’t wait to get away to London, which she did at 18 when she went to university. She is currently JOY’s Vice-President and was heavily involved in Melbourne Queer Film Festival for many years. She has met Kate Bush, Mother Theresa and gate crashed a Blondie party once! She’s worked as a journalist/editor/subeditor/reporter/presenter for 30 years and is a passionate lover of the arts.

And does she have a mixtape for you? Think Elvis Presley, Blondie, Kate Bush, Barbra Streisand, FredAstaire, Richard Burton, Dusty Springfield and many, many more…

Paul Byrne-Moroney – Out, Proud Intersex Man and host of JOY’s “The I In Us”

In this episode of For One Night Only (FONO), Pete Holmes talks with that intersex man, Paul Byrne-Moroney – (Pronouns He/Him). He also has a Diploma in Travel Writing & Photography and a Certificate in Tour guiding – WOW! He has been a tour guide at Melbourne’s Chinatown museum for 12 years, and still loves travel, writing & photography but has never found away to be paid for it!
